Source: The County of Hawaii, Department of Environmental Management, Wastewater Division maintains a GIS database of the county-maintained sewer networks and other systems that feed into county systems on the island of Hawaii using ESRI software including ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro.
Status: This layer is still under development. The information in the sewer GIS database is still being verified against construction maps, field checks, etc. Not all attributes have been populated.
Sewer features in this layer were digitized relative to the parcel boundaries in the County of Hawaii’s November 2011 digital parcel GIS layer. Therefore, overlaying this layer with other data layers that did not use the parcel layer as a base may not produce precise results. Updates to align sewer features with the County of Hawaii’s parcel GIS layer changes occur periodically.
